Between Waves

About this painting

From a distance, this painting is mostly movement: large waves, layers of blue and a sense of being overwhelmed. But when you come closer, you begin to notice the tiny surfers hidden within it. For me, it reflects how life can sweep us up and demand so much that we miss the small moments happening inside it. Sometimes we just need to look closer to remember they are still there.
